Do we sing ?

Twice when visiting other hash kennels I have been challenged to sing Porto Invicta's own song, and I have been embarrassed to say we don't have a special song of our own. So creative juices have been expended and replenished with excellent ales. Drawing inspiration from our creation 'myth' of another hash repeatedly cancelling runs because rain was forecast, and our firm resolve to always be ON ON trail regardless of the weather - often we are hashing in the rain. ( ask anyone from Lisbon - they all believe it rains 365 days a year in Porto) But back in '52 Gene Kelly showed how to rebuke bad weather by "Singing in the rain". Now we don't run to tap dancing - but we do have new lyrics for "Hashing in the Rain" To be sung first at Lisbon hash 1000th this coming weekend.
